London, Thursday 1st Dec: TechWolf, the skills intelligence platform that enables leading organisations to make skills-based workforce decisions, is continuing its strong international growth with a new VP of Sales, Dan Tesnjak and VP of Marketing, Vicky Holdsworth. The appointments come following a €10M Series A investment round led by Stride.VC. (with participation from Fortino Capital, Acadian Ventures, and prior investors including PMV).

Exponential growth

As the concept of the skills-based organisation gains momentum, TechWolf has experienced exponential growth due to the deep, real-time skill insights that its proprietary AI can deliver to organisations. Basing workforce decisions on skill-data, as Deloitte explains, is a more scalable, manageable and equitable way of operating, however, fewer than one in five organisations are currently adopting skills-based approaches.

This is why leading organisations, including Booking.com, Telenet, ING, KBC and Garrett Motion (formerly Honeywell Transportation Systems) are turning to TechWolf to gain a comprehensive view of their workforce skills to improve competitiveness, innovation, and agility.

Solving the skill-data problem for organisations

Andreas De Neve, CEO at TechWolf said, “TechWolf was founded to solve the skills problem for organisations, delivering skill-data from all of the places where work happens, including HR and learning systems, public instant messages and emails, project management tools, and documents. There is a clear need for organisations to consolidate and use the skill-data produced by employees every day, to inform everything from talent acquisition to upskilling and internal mobility. This is evidenced by the strong growth we have seen in the past 12 months.”

Vicky Holdsworth, VP of Marketing at TechWolf said, “I’m delighted to be joining TechWolf at such a critical time for organisations. With its market leading AI and continuous R&D, TechWolf is well positioned to tackle the skills challenges that all organisations face and my focus will be on reinforcing that market position while scaling TechWolf’s brand globally, supporting the entry of new markets, and building out marketing capabilities.”

Expanded global presence and intelligence

Alongside the two new hires, TechWolf is also opening its first office in London. The team has additionally been focusing on improving the intelligence of TechWolf’s AI models, surpassing 1 billion job vacancies collected to train the models on the global labour market. The global accessibility of the TechWolf platform has been expanded, with over 50 languages now supported.

Dan Tesnjak, VP of Sales at TechWolf said, “Making skill-data actionable is now business-critical no matter your organization size or industry. All business leaders are grappling with immense workforce changes, from digital transformation to upskilling and redeploying workers. Skill-data is the compass they use to navigate these changes, and that’s why I’m excited to begin working with TechWolf to drive its global growth and enable leading organisations to access and deepen their skill-data.”
